This was the only angle that didn't show the glare in my glasses.

It is so very strange wearing glasses.. I was told the everything should stop leaning to one side in a couple of days. - I really hope so because I'm feeling quite a bit of nausea. I don't know if this is natural for everyone or if it's the fact the one eye is long sided and the other is short sided. hmm....

Joss is MY GOD

non-profit enviro org - CHECK!!

I think I have found the Not-for-Profit Environmental Organization that I want to become a part of and donate a % of Lady Bow P profit made, to - http://www.ceres.org.au - CERES - Centre for Education and Research in Environmental Strategies. It's local and fantastic and I really cant wait to get involved!!

A busy next few months!

Yesterday I attended the Information Night for my course next year. If I was excited before yesterday, today I am bouncing off the walls, mixed with a little anxiety. Anxiety because the application process is epic! Not only do I have to sit an interview and present my folio of work, in order to get an interview, I have to submit a letter detailing why it is that I want to do this course with photos of my work. - I am a little nervous/freaked out! But also very excited!! I know I can do this.

I think I might get started on that letter.

SO many plans.. SO little money!!

I have seen the first ideas of my logo. It's looking amazing, I'm very excited!!

I know I naively thought I would have been reopened within a month of my closing shop, but I now know by Christmas, I will be in full swing!!


Also.. I am enrolling into "Advanced Diploma of Engineering Technology (Jewelry)" at NMIT starting next Feb for 2yrs full time. In order to enroll, I must first sit an interview/folio presentation, so I am enrolling myself into a few jewelry making short courses at CAE. I am very excited about everything!! Lady Bow P will soon have an extended range of handcrafted silver/(and all sorts of materials) jewelry.

In my dreams...

I can't believe this.. Only recently, my partner Darcy and I have decided to seriously look into buying a house or building on a block of land outside of Melbourne.

So I've been searching through Domain.com.au and decided to look up Tilba Tilba, home of the most magical house and garden on earth, Foxglove Spires. And what do I see, my dream home up for sale!! For only $1.8mill I can own Foxglove Spires and retire and die happy!! - Well actually I'd have to work till I'm dead to pay it off... But O MY FREAKING GOODNESS!!!!!!!!!! If only I had money....

Felting Update

This is my second attempt at felting, though first attempt at Nuno felting. I bought these supplies yesterday at the fair and now I'm all out! Need to buy more and quickly!! I am loving it sooooo much!!

This piece is for me because some of the silk/wool pieces I scattered around where too thick and didn't catch properly... But it still looks fabulous on! I will post a pic of me wearing it soon.

I didn't get paid as much as I had hoped so I'm no sure if I can pay my graphic designer this week :( I guess it gives me more time to perfect my felting. xx

A Great Day!

Darcy surprised me today by taking me to the Craft & Quilt Fair. I had no idea it was on.. I'm so thankful he is the amazing person he is!! It was a great day, saw so many beautiful quilts, wool and silks. I bought some supplies for felting and got a few tips form the experts and left a very happy and inspired lady.

It's midnight now and I'm marveling at my beautiful creation. I tried my hand at cobweb felting. I really enjoyed it, though at first I was really afraid because I find it hard to do something I don't know how to do on my own... but I got through and it turned out great! Tomorrow I'm going to spend my time before work turning it into a purse.

I can't wait to show you all!

Inspired

Inspiration has been lacking in the last couple of weeks, I've had to really push myself to be creative. My brain and bedroom has been seriously cluttered with crap for so long, that everything just seemed so hard!!! - This is the part where I tell you that I have the most amazing man on earth! Yesterday I come home from a grueling day at work to a spotless house. He cleaned up everything including my jungle of a mess-craft corner of our bedroom. I wanted to cry, it was beautiful! He organized everything. It doesn't stop there though... it's that uncomfortable time of the month for me and I woke up very early in pain. I wanted to cook him breakfast, but couldn't even sit up. So he went out to the supermarket to get some things that I needed, came home and made me a tea and handed me a few of my "Country Style" magazines and said, "If you need anything else, just call out."

He is truly heart-full. I fall in love with him everyday.
Oh and to top it all off, he surprised me last night by telling me that he is taking me to the Craft & Quilt Fair today!!!!

The excitement builds...

Next weekend is Darcy's 25th Birthday and we are celebrating by driving up to his beach house for 5 days. I don't think I can accurately describe how excited and in need I am of this holiday!! It has been longer than I can remember, the last time I had a relaxing time off.

The days will be filled with food, booze, fire place, drugs, sex, the night sky, beaches, laughter... My world will be complete and stress free.

I can't wait to share my photos!!

New job

...or should I say 3rd job! Today I am starting another job with an old crew. Currently I am working 3 jobs, but I need to let 1 go completely but I haven't the courage yet to tell this particular job. I'm such a wuss... Thus new job isn't something I am overly excited about, but it's steady money and steady money is good when you have debt. So the smile is coming on and staying for the duration of the shift... Or else Rochelle will kill me!!!

Letter No.2

Dear Eva,

Tonight I wasted money and time on seeing Eclipse.. (I'm sorry but this is going to be a rant letter) 


I don't even know where to begin. Actually, it was so bad that I'm losing the will to write about it. I'm just sad that they've ruined something that meant so much to me!!! :(

On a funnier note, Darcy and I had dinner at the Moreland Pub. Have you been inside?? Sooo funny!!

Letter No.1

Dear Eva,


I absolutely love seeing you so happy and content in your photos. Makes me feel a little less sad that I don't have you in my life for the next 3 months. You look amazing.. I'm a tiny bit jealous! heh!


This first letter to you is only a short one, I wanted to write something before work. it's 9:30am. I closed with Ash last night and I'm heading to the Great Northern today, then hopefully to the Drive-In with my friend Emma.
