In my dreams...

I can't believe this.. Only recently, my partner Darcy and I have decided to seriously look into buying a house or building on a block of land outside of Melbourne.

So I've been searching through Domain.com.au and decided to look up Tilba Tilba, home of the most magical house and garden on earth, Foxglove Spires. And what do I see, my dream home up for sale!! For only $1.8mill I can own Foxglove Spires and retire and die happy!! - Well actually I'd have to work till I'm dead to pay it off... But O MY FREAKING GOODNESS!!!!!!!!!! If only I had money....

Felting Update

This is my second attempt at felting, though first attempt at Nuno felting. I bought these supplies yesterday at the fair and now I'm all out! Need to buy more and quickly!! I am loving it sooooo much!!

This piece is for me because some of the silk/wool pieces I scattered around where too thick and didn't catch properly... But it still looks fabulous on! I will post a pic of me wearing it soon.

I didn't get paid as much as I had hoped so I'm no sure if I can pay my graphic designer this week :( I guess it gives me more time to perfect my felting. xx

A Great Day!

Darcy surprised me today by taking me to the Craft & Quilt Fair. I had no idea it was on.. I'm so thankful he is the amazing person he is!! It was a great day, saw so many beautiful quilts, wool and silks. I bought some supplies for felting and got a few tips form the experts and left a very happy and inspired lady.

It's midnight now and I'm marveling at my beautiful creation. I tried my hand at cobweb felting. I really enjoyed it, though at first I was really afraid because I find it hard to do something I don't know how to do on my own... but I got through and it turned out great! Tomorrow I'm going to spend my time before work turning it into a purse.

I can't wait to show you all!

Inspired

Inspiration has been lacking in the last couple of weeks, I've had to really push myself to be creative. My brain and bedroom has been seriously cluttered with crap for so long, that everything just seemed so hard!!! - This is the part where I tell you that I have the most amazing man on earth! Yesterday I come home from a grueling day at work to a spotless house. He cleaned up everything including my jungle of a mess-craft corner of our bedroom. I wanted to cry, it was beautiful! He organized everything. It doesn't stop there though... it's that uncomfortable time of the month for me and I woke up very early in pain. I wanted to cook him breakfast, but couldn't even sit up. So he went out to the supermarket to get some things that I needed, came home and made me a tea and handed me a few of my "Country Style" magazines and said, "If you need anything else, just call out."

He is truly heart-full. I fall in love with him everyday.
Oh and to top it all off, he surprised me last night by telling me that he is taking me to the Craft & Quilt Fair today!!!!

The excitement builds...

Next weekend is Darcy's 25th Birthday and we are celebrating by driving up to his beach house for 5 days. I don't think I can accurately describe how excited and in need I am of this holiday!! It has been longer than I can remember, the last time I had a relaxing time off.

The days will be filled with food, booze, fire place, drugs, sex, the night sky, beaches, laughter... My world will be complete and stress free.

I can't wait to share my photos!!
